I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Not just because I'm hoping that if she figured out how to burn copies of that Tennant/Stewart Hamlet I could wheedle/beg/bribe a copy from her since my local stations never picked it up.

You do know it's up for ahem, right?

I watched it with my dad, the OMG Hamlet expert (he knows Shakespeare. He really knows Shakespeare. And literary critique about him. Which made me, in the age of 10, barely mumbling sentences in Present Simple, to use 16th century English words. I still say yonder). He said at first "not bad", and few days later, corrected my assumption that "not bad" means "good", that "not bad" means "not good" either.

I think he's mostly mad about the omissions.

And Fay, dear - every conflict is different, but feeling of terror, helplessness and fright is not. And no one should feel this way, just because a bunch of wackos thinks they know better about what will make this world a better place (read: for their people, that is). And my God, if you have a choice, and if you can live a better life somewhere else, and if your life are on the line/getting intolerable - get the fuck out of there, sweetie. Or, just make sure you stored up enough food and water for a few days in your flat. And a personal recommendation from a graduate of more than one Katyusha rockets attacks - get enough DVDs and books to keep you entertained. Also helpful? Radio on batteries, in case power will be cut out, first aid kit, duct tape, purse with ID and passport and money, and friends to watch your back and keep you informed and keep you sane.

Ahem. Maybe I'm sharing too much experience. Just... I know I prefer to be prepared.

It's not been like I've been crowing about my comments.

The status is NOT quo.

Am at the doctor's office after being at chiro. She x-rayed my neck and said one of the vertebrae is bad--looks like whiplash or a damaged disc. No idea how I managed that. Oh, and I have two missed calls from a CA number and no messages, which I'm guessing are my official rejection phone call attempts from the other school. Why they didn't leave a message I'm not sure. Just tell me, please.

Or maybe not. Just called the number on the missed call list and got a resort in San Diego. Um...?
