DH told me there was a Russian spy who was a theramin player. He developed some kind of code using the same theramin skills or frequencies or some such thing.
Is he bullshitting me?
No, he's not.
And it's not just a theremin
player
who was a Russian spy, it was professor Leon Theremin himself.

He's got it a little confused. Leon Theremin was an electronics genius who invented the theremin. KGB agents kidnapped him off the streets of Manhattan and forced him to work for the USSR spy biz for the rest of his life. Weird and horrible but true.
And it's not just a theremin player who was a Russian spy, it was professor Leon Theremin himself.
Not only that, but Leon Theremin was the inspiration for Boris Badenov.
OK, I made that up.
Even if it's a sparkly one?
Look, if I somehow get turned into a sparklepire, I will still be taking my inspiration from Near Dark and The Hunger, not the Cullen family. I have vampiric standards.
When's the last time you watched The Hunger, anyway, Jilli? Do you have the soundtrack?
I've always assumed all theramin players are Russian spies. That's why I never tell Jon any state secrets.
Jon's not very covert, though, what with the silver pleather and all.
I have to show this off.
The presiding bishop (US Episcopal) gave the sermon at my church a couple of weeks ago and I got to speak with her (briefly).
When's the last time you watched The Hunger, anyway, Jilli? Do you have the soundtrack?
By watched, do you mean all the way through? Because for that, probably some time last year. But if you mean
watched the first 20 minutes,
then about a month ago.
I don't have the soundtrack! I need it, obviously.
Leon Theremin deserves a movie made of his life.

True, but I'm still got going to tell him about the plan to insert two teams of commandos into the Iranian nuclear facility at Qom with two V-22 Ospreys launched from the USS Wasp amphibious assault ship.
