My head stubble feels like a cat's tongue, but softer.
Yes, I have been obsessed with the weirdness of my scalp for a week.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I would love to get laser hair removal.
A few months ago, my mom's cousin broke two ribs when she fell off the table where she was getting electrolysis.
I would love laser hair removal
I highly recommend it. Three years later, and I'm still surprised every now and then when I see the lower parts of my legs without the jungle of hair on them.
It's nice.
I shave underarms every other day or so. Legs, once in a while. In an evil quirk of fate, I have fine sparse hair on my legs, but darker hair on my toes, which grosses me right the fuck out out, but is hard to shave. I would get that foliage lasered off, but am loathe to spend the $$ on such a little thing. I groom The Area, but not in an extreme way, with a really sharp razor once a week or so. Sharp razor = less ingrowns for me.
I should be asleep. I am not asleep. Instead, I am eating a Tofurky sandwich, on a tortilla because I don't have any bread, and with mustard because I don't have any mayo. I recommend the mustard, but not the tortilla.
I really should be asleep. I think the Vicodin is doing something weird tonight. Instead of slightly loopy and then asleep, like usual, it's made me awake yet exhausted, and really hungry.
I am so jealous of people who don't have to shave regularly. All the hair below my belly button is coarse and dark and pokey and EW. Ironic since the hair on my head is fine, soft and blonde, as is the hair on my arms. Everywhere else, though? NSM. My legs stay smooth for about 24 hours before they feel like a porcupine again, and I have to shave my armpits every few days. I get bikini and upper leg waxes when I can afford them because (though I hate the pain) I love the 2-3 weeks of not having to deal with that region of my body. They are a must in summer for me if I want to wear anything that goes above the knee.
I would love to get my pits lazered. waxing my legs stings only slightly and is utterly tolerable when i'm controlling the ouchy. Waxing armpits? NSM. It's pretty much impossible. Stupid hairs growing every which direction.
I stayed up till 2:00 am to finish this stupid sociology paper.
This is gonna be a long day.
OMG Erin, were you also a JCLer? I went to national latin conventions every year through high school. I liked how i was totally cool and popular there, tho most certainly not at school.
Latin Camp taught me how to be a sarcastic bitch! And a perv! I went to Denver in, I think, 1988 and Pittsburg in 89. I was the Queen of Derivitives. Grammar, NSM.
Ah, Latin Camp. Where I first was cool, played "Suck Me, Blow Me" in a toga, and its collective effect allowed me to finally muster the courage to, when I returned to high school my senior year, and a lad in a popular coterie of boys grabbed his crotch and said "Bite me," be able to coolly raise an eyebrow and say "I don't eat rotten meat."
Ah, pubescent turning points. Ah, JCL.
Erin, was the president still Dr. Richard Beaton, aka as DICK BEATIN', among the JCLers, when you were involved? Heh.
(I also slapped my first boy at Latin Camp. Not because he was fresh or anything; because he was a dick, and because I could. Poor kid.)
{{Shir}} Hope you get through the day OK.
Okay, now I need to know what the best twitter application is.
I love Mixero. It's for people who follow too many people. It's a bit tricky to set up, but once you've got it how you want it, it's great.
What Twitter needs is some kind of list/filter function so that when I get horribly behind, I can catch up on just the people I know in real life.
Twitter has lists, and Mixero makes it easy to work with them. (I do not actually sell this product.) TweetDeck's also not bad for lists/groups.
In the hair-shaving discussion: I have way too much hair. I got bored of having to shave it every day, and just stopped wearing sleeveless things. I hate my legs so mostly wear trousers/long skirts even in the summer, and I would look ridiculous in a bikini. So, once a month at most, basically. (It's nice that The Girl doesn't mind.) I bleach the hair on my face. Doctor thinks I might have PCOS. Would explain a lot.
My other problem is hair on my chest areas, long black ugly hairs that are prone to getting ingrown after they've been plucked.
Cutting just above the root seems to be an OK solution there.
