It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hi Sox! How're things? How's work been?

Vibing hard on that.

Me too! But we've made plans so many times to move over and they never seem to work out, so I'm not counting any chickens.

We are the obstacle in your path. Someone else can be the wing beneath your wings.

Heh. I just remember the three times I've driven down through Virginia, it was (1) not the desination and (2) caused everyone involved in the trip to mutter "Are we STILL in Virginia?" at various times.

I will say the last time I went through Virginia (the trip back from the Atlantic F2F) was the only time I wasn't taking 95, and was a hell of a lot more pleasant (I used 75 to 81 instead).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sox, I hate bullies, too. What's going on?

Hello, Jars. It's good to see your font.

Somebody tell me to move my ass. I've got stuff to do.

Try driving through Texas!

Sox, what's the deal? What are the bullies doing? should we form a posse and pants the mo-fo's?

Andi, move your ass!

Well, it figures this time you'll actually make it over here, Jars. As Tom and Nora are leaving a vacuum that must needs be filled by buffistae.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hi, Jars!

Sox, I hate bullies, too. What's going on?

Me too. Who do we need to smite?

Some of us say that when we're not even driving.

I-95 is torture to drive on. At least 81, while endless, goes through the pretty mountains.

Try driving through Texas!

West Texas is miles and miles of dirt and roadkill.

You've got to remember, I'm from New England where (most of) the states are tiny, and I don't drive out of New England much. Granted, I'm originally from the one NE state that's not small, but I realized recently the farthest I've been in Maine is not even halfway up the state.

Yeah, I can put up with a lot of highway if the scenery is pretty. Well, as long as it's not scenery I've driven through hundreds of times before (e.g. the stretch of 95 I take to go up to Maine).

brillig

Ah, the East, where driving all day gets you through six states. Then, the West, when all day gets you most of the way through Colorado. Lord, west Kansas and east Colorado, straight lines of nothing.
