Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

'Shindig'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

This is what leave is for, askye. Don't feel bad about using it.

Thrive to spite them

well I'm just about out of it. I'm using Vacation leave now.

I'm trying not to be hard on myself, but when we had open enrollment I wasn't smart and didn't sign up for the Aflac plans that would have helped me.

Granted the open enrollment was in November when I was also in the midst of being sick and not realizing what was going on. Also now that I'm well I realize that my 8 on a scale of 10 pain wasn't really an 8 and more like a 12.

I do have one type of Aflac and I really need to call and find out if it would cover anything. I'm trying not to be hard on myself because I was really sick and didn't know it.

On the other hand I'm renting from Mom so I think she'll be negotiable on rent if I can't pay.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup, definitely, askye. Stay home. Recover. This is about you right now. Other people will benefit long-term from you finding your way to better health, so don't worry about other people right now, just you.

Other weird thing about Facebook: My roommate's mother took photos of my hummingbirds while she was here and posted them. I feel strange about this, although I have no reason to, I suppose. Those are my hummingbirds!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What I'm Doing with my Edumacashun:

That was awesome!!

Did you have to sleep with the writer/director/actor-who-played-police-chief to get hired for that?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

No, he had to sleep with his wife who had final approval of his shooting schedule.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Did you have to sleep with the writer/director/actor-who-played-police-chief to get hired for that?

Yes. Yes, I did. And the son of a bitch almost didn't cast me anyway. Something about wrist cramps.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Stay home, askye.

(no matter what Cass says)

Heh. (Thanks for the teal warning, Bev.) Brenda that is a gorgeous color. For someone not me, clearly.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

End of first day trip report- made it through my nemesis state, Pennsylvania. It was raining a bitch out there. Cats were so good! They are such good boys. Drove 530-ish miles, went through eight states, hit the hotel mexican cantina on Margarita Special Night and had yummy cheap margaritas and cheesy mexican food goodness.

The guys have been exploring the hotel room and being generally awesome and great sports. Road Warrior Kittehs!

Fuuuuuuck, I'm tired.

Yay kitteh warriors! And margaritas! I quail at the thought of long cartrips with my 3. 8 miles, I thought one of us or a carrier wasn't going to make it.
