Oh, look at the pretties!

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yeah, it's Monday. Guess who just woke up? That would be me. Guess who hasn't called in yet because she's terrified of admitting yet another screwup? Me again. I went to bed on time and everything. I just don't know what to do anymore.

~ma to all.

smonster, do you have a friend who can call in the morning to wake you up and talk you out of bed? I did that for a friend of mine in college who needed to make an 8 a.m. french class or he'd fail out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

lisah, my parents did that for me for quite a while. I really hate to ask again, as it's one more "proof" that I'm not an adult, but I guess I may have to. Argh.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What time do you need the call, smonster? A friend of mine did that for me for a while, when I was still working in the office and could not get there at 9am to save my life. (9am! Who can't be up and dressed and at work at 9am with a fifteen-minute commute? ME.) I'd be glad to pay it forward. Now that I don't have to leave my house, I'm usually up at 5am.

Then get a friend to do it! Or I bet there is some kind of wake up call service out there. I can understand that frustration of feeling like you're failing at being a grown up but to be embarrassed than get reprimanded for not getting to work on time.

Zen, that would be so awesome. I need to be up at 6:30. Do you have my number?

I just called in. Told her I'm taking the day off to get my shit together.

Crap is leaving our place at a most rapid rate, hooray movers!

Hi all, I've been reading and ~ma-ing, but haven't had the wherewithal to post anything. Moving to New Orleans this week. Yeah. We have a place to live though! [link]
