Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Have visited Leo. He's alert, reasonably calm, cranky, tired, annoyed with the IV in his arm, *really* sick of people touching his butt, and would like to come home now please. So, he's doing well. He does definitely have a urinary tract infection, which I'm told is common amongst his people, and he's getting antibiotics for that. Don't know for how long. They're keeping him at least until tomorrow. I have an appointment with an internal medicine specialist tomorrow morning to talk about the possible pancreatitis.

Percy is acting even more the needy whiney emo kitty than usual. He probably is unhappy with the lack of Leo in the house. I'm calmer now that I've seen and petted the Leo and got him to purr for me. Whatever this turns out to be, I'll handle it. I need my kitty boy home and well.

Thanks for the good words and thoughts, y'all.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Zen, not your fault. You figured out something was wrong and fixed it. No beating yourself up about it.

Happy madres day to the Bitch-y moms. Human children, do not follow Ryan's gift-giving suggestions. Flowers and a heartfelt card will do just fine. Animal children, likewise. Andi's furballs are well-intentioned, but if the gift causes the mother more work, you did it wrong. Try some snuggles and a purr/bark or two instead.

Job~ma, Hil. Glad your neighbors could help, smonster.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Thanks for the job~ma, everyone.

I'm watching Sister Act. This is a silly movie.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

James Woods was sitting 2 tables over from my mother and I at dinner just now.

(((Zen)))

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful Buffista mommies!!!

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

That is one famous person I'd probably be afraid to say "Hi. Like your work," to as I'm kind of afraid of him. He has a moody reputation, too.

Erika, I didn't want to bother him because he was out with his parents, but he was very nice to a little girl who wanted a picture with him, and he was all smiles to the waitstaff.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Yeah, some of those "bad reputations" come from non-famous people with no manners, I'm sure.

Our wings are not tired.

Woods was my ex-boyfriend's neighbor on Gilcrest in Bev Hills. It was scary during the Sean Young years, let me tell you. Screaming matches all day long, lots of burned rubber out of the driveway at all hours. We were so happy when they broke up for good.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Dana, Cass - thanks for the info for my Portland trip. The TriMet planner is awesome; it looks like we can take the streetcar up to Powell's in the afternoon and then walk to Keller for the concert. After years negotiating Houston traffic, I really appreciate not having to drive in an unfamiliar downtown.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Zen, Harvey sends his best purr vibes for Leo. Leo is very lucky to have such a perceptive, and swift-to-action human in his life. Continuing with the ~ma for him, and some for you.

Continuing job~ and confidence~ma, Hil.

Happy Mother's Day to y'all.
