I less-than-3 you.
Moi aussi.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I less-than-3 you.
Moi aussi.
People need to learn how to mutherfucking CraigsList. You don't post something for $130 and when the person has driven across town say, "I've had a lot of interest. Will you give me $150?" Your ad did not say OBO. It had a set price, I was the first to look at it, and I had cash in hand *and* was buying something else.
Grrr.
And I just sneezed and a rib slid out of place.
Hubby's had that, I'm used to hearing "Ah-choo! Ow, dammit!" That's his degenerative connective tissue disease talking, the rotten thing.
Ha!! My irritation must not have been veiled very well (is it ever?). I just got an exceptionally apologetic email telling me I could still have it at the advertised price.
That's what I thought you said.
Aims, email them back asking if you can have it for $110.
Yeah, make him pay for your gas.
...so much for all that interest, eh? No lurkers supprting the seller in email now that you're not there cash in hand? Dude. Cash in hand always beats supposed interest. (my iPhone wanted that to read cash in Hans. Which is a whole other thing)
I'm in Torchwood with Eliot Spencer
Hubba.
I just emailed potential new job with a polite email checking on a timeline for the final decision. I feel a little sick with anxiety, though I'm trying not to let it affect me too much.
ETA: It's not that I would be miserable here next year, and taking a new job is scary too, but given the situation with my current Head, I'd like to go now and get a fresh start closer to home.
ETA2: iTunes just decided to play "Defying Gravity." I'm taking this as a positive omen.
I saw Wicked for the first time last night and cried and cried, hormones only partially to blame.
I am finally seeing it in a few weeks! I'm getting tickets on Saturday for me and a few friends and some medical writing buddies. It should be a good time.
In other musical news, I bought the American Idiot soundtrack and can't stop listening to it. Come back to Berkeley Rep! I will pay to see you again!
