'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ummm... I don't think posting while driving is a good idea.

Unless you have one of these,

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The best part of Gud's link is the customer images.

Punishingly Intricate

Ha! Seriously!

I also recently showed my wife the "Gifts for Mom" Newegg ad.

She enjoyed reading the customer reviews for the hand massager.

“Not dead yet!”

You know, I've come to an interesting conclusion with respect to these copyedits. I think the first half of the book went so... damned... slow... because it's the part of the book that was rewritten and revised the most. To the point where I very nearly despise it. Whereas the second half of the book is almost completely intact from the original draft —interestingly enough, it seems to have far fewer edits and I actually like reading it better because it's like reading something new.

Strange.

Oh, and omnis? Don't text and drive, you ninny. We don't want to have to scrape your remains off of I-40.

Yes, this. I'm stopping myself from making a longer post, but suffice it to say that I've recently become aware of just how dangerous it is to use your phone for anything while driving. Please be careful!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Today I ran into a SECOND group of German tourists riding on Harleys in a pack. I'm guessing there is a very thriving tour industry of renting Harley Davidson's to tour America.

Ha! My niece has a friend from Norway (named Magnus!) who takes groups of European tourists on motorcycle tours of the U.S. He seems to do quite well, plus it's fun!

I really want to drive Route 66, more than ever now! Meteor Crater!

A restaurant that wants me to cook my own food? Oh hell no. Something else to check for in strange cities. (Strange to me. Or, just strange.)

I'm curious about the Skinwalkers, Liese. The Wikipedia article was basically what I knew, and I wonder if it's right at all.

Interview ~ma, Hil! May this one be just right.

I had a bizarre "I'm in Torchwood with Eliot Spencer" dream last night. Would've been scary, but... I had Eliot, so I felt safe. Completely incoherent dream, though; couldn't even make a fanfic of it!

Shir, I've been known to gather evidence that backs my opinion and shove it at people who argued stupid positions against me, sometimes days later. Like the guy who insisted that Klaatu was the robot. I mean, really, some things just cannot be allowed to stand.

I don't like regular-cut T-shirts because the crew necks are too high. High necks don't look good on me, and the feeling of something around my neck bothers me. When I have a T-shirt I like, I usually cut the neck out and let the material roll.

omnis, what they said! No texting while driving!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I had a bizarre "I'm in Torchwood with Eliot Spencer"

Ahahaha! Now that would be a crossover.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm in Torchwood with Eliot Spencer

Wait, was there more internet after this sentence? Because I think I got stuck.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

My problem was not with his argument, which I could attack easily. My problem was with him telling me I'm making stuff up in front of the whole seminar class.

Maybe it's the whole radical sociological theory and Foucault reading I had the past two weeks, but I won't interact in an out-of-line, violent discourse out of my free will. He was out of line. It was a valid academic discussion, up to that point. For discourses I can't stand, there's always the chats with my mother, who NEEDS to hear that everything is fine, or else she'll continue ask. Again, and again, and again. Which makes her a hell of a nurse, but not the best person to take advice from, at times.

Oh, and FTR, in the break just before the class I hit someone with a pen (threw it really hard on his face) for disrespecting Dr. Who (I did give a fair warning before. He still thinks it's a shallow, stupid show and made fun of it. Something had to be done). I don't do violent discourse, but I sure as hell do violence.

And as for Tourchwood, I'm pretty sure I saw their van driving to my campus this morning. Which explains a lot, frankly.
