Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins. Twenty years old. Born on the fourth of July — and don't think there weren't jokes about that my whole life, mister, 'cause there were. 'Who's our little patriot?' they'd say, when I was younger and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

dictionary69.com doesn't appear to be a valid address.

Probably active in the FringeVerse...

GoDaddy will sell it for $11/year, Andi...

I refuse to believe that there isn't a valid sex dictionary, somewhere on the WWW.

... right?

ION - juxtapositioning between F.J. Turner theory on the American Frontier and Simmel's The Metropolis and Mental Life is working out great. Sadly, it might end up only as a footnote, but I hope to make a paragraph out of it.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

You don't need numbers to say "interaction", "matrix", or to understand and use the very first elements of Quantum Theory (which, IMHO, brought pomo to us). That's the beauty of it.

Is true, but I don't even understand the most philosophical of mathematical concepts. I did read and even sometimes follow A Brief History of Time, but I mostly remember images of black holes and strings that I made in my head. They are very cool images, though.

ETA: Off to see this [link] now. As a French horn player, The Girl is ridiculously excited about this play.

I'm sure there is.

It's that specific address that's up for grabs.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have avoided having to do anything so drastic as housework (let alone grading) by noticing that the last 3 SG:A episodes will expire in 5 days on Hulu. Also, I went to the theatre and got fabric, to finish(ish) elf costumes that I wasn't supposed to have to make.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I slept the fuck in! With no guilt, I slept till 1:30. AIFG.

Friends came over last night around 8; I thought maybe a couple of people would show, but nope, I had 8 people show up with tons of leftovers and booze, and all of a sudden, we had a little party! It was really fun -- too bad D. had to work today. I chased everyone out at 12:30, sent him to bed and did a little picking up.

I went to bed at about 2 after kinda winding down a little, and slept like a fricking log.

Today is really beautiful - I'm going to drink my coffee, and empty the dishwasher, FILL the dishwasher, and bag up the trash. But that's it. That's all the cleaning I'm doing today.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Shopping was a great success today, and then I took a very long nap. We're going to see relatives in a little while that we didn't see yesterday.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Woohoo for guilt-free sleeping in!

It's cold here today. First really cold day. Didn't snow, but totally could.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It was in the 80s here yesterday, for no apparent reason. So we ate outside, which was great. Kidlet could run around like a crazy person. Today it's gone back to the LA version of chilly.
