Very glad Matt's happier, beth. Nothing sucks out your soul quite the way a corrosive work environment does.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Between B.org and my other forum, I am very excited at signs the economy seems to be picking up. Hil's job offer (and Matt's) comes at the same time as three other people who've been looking 6+ months for work. What a very good turn of events.
Tell me to back away slowly from the idiot Teabaggers. They're up in arms about this YouTube video:
Intimidated? living in DC, it's not unusual to see more than that on a regular basis. I used to get wanded and have my purse searched, with an occasional sniff by a dog, before going into church (when Shrub was in attendance).
Pooch-spam treat of the day:
What a cute (clean) boy!!!

If only it would direct itself Lewis' way now. Please Universe, to be sending the job ~ma thisaway?
I hope you're sleeping right now, omnis, surrounded with dreams of hot women and a relaxing home to get back to.
Sadly no. They are STILL loading the truck. I wanna know whose brilliant idea it was to have only 2 guys. Both into their FIFTIES. My driver has been working for mayflower for 43 years! Sooo slow!! Nice. But slooooow.

Sean, you're talking about people who think "red light means stop" is a violation of their freedoms.
SO MUCH CRAXY!
Am not reading tea party stuff, would not be any more rational than I think they are.
Just did loads and loads of stuff into my car from the old place, and some cleaning. Still some more to do--about two more loads (step stool, garbage can, cleaning supplies), and sweeping. Need to buy some superglue for the one doorstopper thingie that had come off, and need to bring over my hammer to get all the nails out that I couldn't pull out by hand. Eep!
The problem is, now there's tons and tons of stuff in my car, and even MORE stuff that I managed to haul one story up into my living room...and none of it do I want to "unpack" or haul up to my bedroom, or figure out what to do with it.
NOR do I want to do any actual WORK. I want a NAP.
