I wonder if banjo players are annoyed by it... or do they embrace it?
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
sj, how long have you been on the steroids already? And I clearly need to catch up with you. What pain are you experiencing? Because long-term steroid usage can cause pain.
Just three weeks. The pain is not from the steroids, the steroids are helping with the pain. The one thing that the blood tests did show was that I have inflammation. What is causing that, who knows? The pain is sort of all over joint pain. A few weeks ago I could barely move.
Oh, honey. That's horrible. I called and left you a VM, by the way...

When did you call? I'm exhausted and just about to crash on the couch. Can I call you back tomorrow?

DCers, the Tennant/Stewart Hamlet is being rebroadcast TONIGHT at 1:30AM (technically Friday) on WETA (channel 26 in my neck of the woods) I'm tivoing, so may be able to burn discs if I can figure it out.
Can I call you back tomorrow?
Absolutely, honey. Whenever you're up to it...
I'm having some fun with google mapping the driving time from Carrollton to various other places. It will be so nice having a car.
Now I've got to figure out whether it would make more sense to buy the car in NJ or DC and drive it down, or to buy it in Georgia. (I already know that I'm going to get a Mini Cooper.)
My advisor's first comment when I told him about the job was, "Have you seen Deliverance?"
That would be further north.
or to buy it in Georgia.
Sales tax would be around 7 percent here, Hil.
I'd buy it in Georgia, Hil.
I'm tivoing, so may be able to burn discs if I can figure it outOoo! I'm missing that due to pack/move/stress/aarrggh'ing. Can you burn a copy for me?
Now I've got to figure out whether it would make more sense to buy the car in NJ or DC and drive it down, or to buy it in GeorgiaI think the biggest factor would be the tax difference. If it's more in DC, is the difference less than what ever other mode of transportation you would take to get to GA. I think the other question is, long ago, they used to say "don't drive the car over 45 mph for the first 1,000 miles (dunno if those numbers are right, but you get the idea). If that is still the case, then that would be another vote for buying in GA.
IOmeN- progress is being made here in the land of packing. There are still piles of mess everywhere, and it's times like this that I believe I have mild ADD, as it seems I start on one task, walk into the other room, then see something, and work on that, then bring something to the other room, and pick up on another task... rather than just doing one thing until it's done. But then again, my stuff is kinda scattered everywhere, soooo, kinda needed to make sure I at least pack everything with its kind.
