It's in Georgia, about 50 miles west of Atlanta. The pay is at the really low end of the scale, but it comes with benefits, and cost of living there is pretty cheap. I told them that I'd probably be working there for a year or two and then applying for a better job somewhere else, and they were fine with that. I've got to let them know by Monday, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to take it -- considering the state of the market, I really can't afford to bet on getting anything better. It's not my dream job, but it's a place to start.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hil, that's WONDERFUL news!!!
Congratulations, Hil!
The University of West Georgia?

One of my officemates has a bottle of scotch in his desk drawer that he's been saying we'll open when I get a job offer. Of course, he's not in the office today.
Hil that is WONDERFUL news! I am so happy for you!
It's not my dream job, but it's a place to start. The first few jobs out of school rarely are the dream jobs. Good attitude, and recognizing it's a start. So proud of you! YAY!!! When you can, I suggest a vacation to Savannah , GA. Nice little town, and by the beach, which you love so much.
I'm not here. I'm packing. Really. I swear. kinda. sort of. almost. mostly. (Have I mentioned I'm REALLY good at procrastinating? Can I get a job at that?)
YAY HIL!!!! Rock on witch'er bad self!!
