Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I don't know if I ever saw the "before" and "after" Monstro paint jobs. Do you have any pics!? And what a relief that the piano is gone. Awesome.

not your mom's socks.

Hive- mind advice requested, specifically from those who can advise on shiva dos and don'ts. My much-loved boss from a previous job just lost her father after an illness and is sitting shiva this week. I knew this was coming but haven't figured out the best way to pay respects. I'd like to make the visit, but I do not want to impose. I can send a tray if that's better -she will know I made a special trip if I do go, and I don't want that to become a big deal.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I just spent like 30 minutes looking and couldn't find any except when we moved him from LA. When we put him back up, I'll take pictures and post them. He's humnormous. And I would actually love to have another one built.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I dreamt I joined some kind of revolutionary group ( I don't know why) and when I read their glossy newsmagazine, I was annoyed by all the typos. I looked at the info page, and they outsourced the mag to Russia, and all of the editors names were in Hebrew, and I was very annoyed that they (a) had a gloss newsmag and (2) I couldn't read the editor's names to yell at them for all the errors.

I fear I would be a very bad revolutionary. Also, don't drink margaritas before bedtime.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

But don't drink them in the morning either?!?!?

It's like there is no good time to drink 'ritas.

Of course, that could also be taken as there being no BAD time to drink 'ritas...

java, David, and other Giants fans - I introduce to you the newest player in the Giants family and her awesome manger/nutritionist/chauffer/third base coach: [link]

Our Little League Opening Day went famously despite some rain. And after pledging up and down that I was not going to coach in any capacity this year, I am the third base/outfield coach for Emeline's team. It'll be a good time. I had a blast coaching yesterday.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Aims, could you just leave it behind for your uncle to use? Or would he flip out like a mammal?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Monstro? No - Joe wouldn't leave him for me let alone my uncle whom Joe is very close to hating.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sox, go with what you feel she'd take better. There's no religious reason for you not to go if that's your concern (visitors comforting the mourners are what is supposed to happen), but if she's going to take it as she has to be hosting you or something, sending something is fine.

Thrive to spite them

So the crappy weekend continued -- Mom some how broke a lawn chair and hyperextended her leg in the fall.

And my bro's dog cut the pad on one of her paws -- well not on the paw, but the pad that's on the leg. So she's been miserable.
