Mal: You were dead! Tracy: Hunh? Oh. Right. Suppose I was. Hey there, Zoe.

'The Message'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Anybody willing to provide me with an alibi? I've got a cow-irker who deserves serious schooling and possibly death, but no cake. It's a good thing she wasn't in her office when I dropped off some paperwork, because it might have gotten ugly.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm good for an alibi AND helping to bury the body.

Post Toasties:

Didn't mean to ignore everyone else's life stuff, though!

Cute hair, brenda!

Love the house, Seska. I, too, would love to have a conservatory.

DJ, glad to hear the cousin is doing well.

Daniel, better healthcare is to be celebrated! Yay! It's about the only reason I took my current job.

meara, your intrepidness in diving right into homeownership makes me feel like a syncophant, even after 6 years. I've got a leaky faucet that's been that way the whole time. I am plumbing averse, big time.

Oh geeze, I shouldv'e meara'd too. I saw all of those posts on the iPhone and rarely post from the iPhone. Can I please piggyback on everything Sail said?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oops! DJ, glad your *cousin* is doing well, and congrats to your sister!

brenda, cute haircut! Looks good on you.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Andi and I were watching The Tick (Animated) today while lunching.

After watching "Little Wooden Boy & the Belly of Love" Andi turns to me and says "I now understand what Emmitt was doing with the wooden boy!"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"I now understand what Emmitt was doing with the wooden boy!"

Well, that's the important thing.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I sent out my 200th job application. Decided against applying to a job in Texarkana.

I have also discovered that I am very much a Northeasterner in my concept of space and distance. College web pages that tell about the area around the school by saying something like, "This school is just 150 miles from Dallas," confuse me.
