Ye gods I want these: [link] Or these. [link] But too high for me, too. And can't afford and don't need.
I know, some of them are SO CUTE, and then I'd see the 4 inch heel and think "well, shit". I could do a 3 inch (briefly), but not four. I've got no arch in my foot, so it's literally painful to just put my foot in the shoe.

They showed that on the news last night. It was awesome.
So in further "I can't believe people are actually
asking me to do cool things
" news, I was just asked to take over the "Voices of Experience" column in the
AMWA Journal,
which spotlights new and experienced medical writers with interviews. I was interviewed by the current woman back when I started a few years ago, and she wants me to take the mantle.
I think you'd be a great person to take over since you have that inquisitive nature and an eye for the unusual.
Shir, does your local paper have a "Missed Connections" column? It's always kind of like that, people writing "Cute Blonde at Starbucks: Sorry you left while I was getting my order..."
(I've been sort of obsessed with them for a long time...at one time, I thought I was going to write a story like that, but that was BDS...my style's...changed.)

Go you with the career having and advancing.
Wow, I never knew that.
Or maybe I forgot.
I don't know why I like them so much...maybe the idea that one moment could change your life.
I mean, without "and I woke up in the hospital" attached to it, like with some of my friends.
I forgot to take my steroid this morning. Maybe that explains the evil mood?
ma~, bonny. And some {{}}, too.

Not that I can think of.
I'm just crossing fingers I'll run into him again.
DJ, any news on the surgery?
TCG cracked a tooth today at work, and he doesn't have any more coverage available until July (he already used up this years worth). Some please don't let this be pricey ~ma?
Apparently she's been in recovery for over 3 hours (supposed to be 1 1/2 or so). They weren't letting her mom or her baby daddy in to see her because of pain issues. And as of 19 minutes ago there was still some sort of delay.
I'm trying to find out what's going on from her mother or sister.
I'm freaking out again though.
