It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Now I want a conservatory. pout I wonder if I could turn my little-used tiny patio into a conservatory? Hm.

Go forth and find him, Shir! And if the sparks flew both ways, he may be trying to find you again, too, you know.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I wish I could do heels. But my feet hates me after 2-3 hours on a less than 3 cm heel.

Compassionately intolerant

I am totally with Vortex on this one, Shir. Language and all. Say yes to the fun of it!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

This is what I just got from her sister: They are done with the first part and have started the skin graft. They took out 2 lymph nodes. I think that's a good sign because if they thought for a second that it could have gone further they'd taken more. All I know so far. Will keep you posted.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For DCistas, they're having the Bow-Wow Pow-Wow on May 2 at the Marie Reed Center on 18th Street.

And we once had a cat who would snuggle down into a shoe if they were left lying around ... no chewing. But she did insist on dragging her water dish - just the water dish, not the food dish - out into the middle of the floor. Which resulted in some very interesting noises when my mother went through late at night.

And, for baseball fans, how's this for a picture?

Toddson, is that picture real? It seems to defy gravity.

My period this month has brought with it blinding rage and the urge to throw things for no particular reason (which so far I am resisting).
