I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

First, that doesn't sound like you AT ALL. Secondly, the woman sounds like a passive aggresive bitch.

I agree. I find myself wishing I could tell these jerks (including one or two where Daniel works), "Like, what totally awesome leadership skills!" t /Moon Unit Zappa voice

I'm sorry, Drew.

Speaking of totally awesome leadership, the dippy housemanager who couldn't control her own reactions and thought it was inappropriate to not nag, she won't be returning to work. She went off to have surgery in February. And I started vibing that her negative energy couldn't come back in to the house, to protect the residents from it. Well, we finally got word that the restrictions her doctors were insisting on essentially meant that no one knew when she would ever be fit to work full time again, so she's just not coming back. And I got to say to the supervisor two levels above me, "I sure hope the next person you put in that job has a clue about how our reactions increase or decrease behaviors, and has another clue about how important routines are." So it was good to be able to have that conversation. It seems they have someone picked out, that person just has to find a replacement for their current position and then will be able to start here.

The status is NOT quo.

Part of what is upsetting me so much is that this is someone that I generally have a good relationship with. She can be passive aggressive, but I really thought she and I were beyond that.

I'm sorry, Kristin. It just sucks all around. And it kind of makes me wonder what kind of drama this person is setting the stage for - or trying to cover up.

I think sometimes some makes a complain -- and an upper person in the organization takes it too seriously , or even takes it incorrectly. Which may be part of what is going. Of course, I think that is part of what is going at DH's soon to be ex job. So I may an idea in my head that I think everyone should fit into

brillig

Part of the problem with Freecycle around here is that I think most people troll through it for stuff they can put in yard sales or eBay. There's not a big culture of freely sharing stuff around, not if someone else can make a profit on it. This is considered cleverness and sharp business practice.

Oh, that's the worst, Kristin, when it's someone you THOUGHT you were good with. Ack. Bad enough when it's someone you know dislikes you, bitching. But geez!! Can you go back and make a list of when you DID sub, at least, and kinda be like even if you don't know when all you were ASKED, you know when you did? Or something? Maybe it's just a feeling on her part, and facts might help?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Drew, I'm sorry you're missing your dad. Fuck cancer!

Pix, wow that is weird. It sounds like your co-worker has issues that have nothing to do with you.

IOShallowN, I painted my nails green today, but it wasn't quite the shade of green I was hoping it would be. If Plei or Cass are around, what nailpolish was it you had at last year's F2F?
