Fuck cancer in all its forms.
And the vets who can't diagnose it in time.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hugs to them as needs 'em.
Seriously, Freecycle is magic, except for the flake factor.
Amen. The flake factor is huge. Also, people who show up and expect you to help them move the item that you are giving away.
Hubby refuses to Freecycle anything because he dislikes strangers profiting from our stuff. He can donate to friends.
Comfort~ma for ND.
This piano has no value to me whatsoever. And when I'm ready to get rid of something, I don't care who profits from it so long as I don't have to dust it or step over it anymore.

Friends of mine had a "free yard sale" when they moved. A bunch of stuff was left over, including (IIRC) a glass-topped patio table and 4 metal chairs. amyth put it on freecycle and in 45 minutes, someone came and picked it all up.
Ah, but you're reasonable people. Hubby . . . not so much.
Ah! There's the rub! Craxy unreasonable hubbies.
Heh, Connie.
On a related note, I've found another charity auction to donate to, whee! Getting rid of at least one Vietri platter (blue and yellow swirled Murano glass) that I bought for ridic cheap but don't want, and the painted box from Russia that D gave me and I now want out of my life. Between the dog and the potential move, I have GOT to start decluttering seriously. Which reminds me... ::scurries off to Press::
