I forgot you have cats. That might be a deciding factor in which dog you adopt. The ads don't say whether they are cat-friendly or not.

Yeah, I know. And the shelter is a half hour away so I don't know if a home visit would be possible. No way I'm taking them there, they'd be too freaked out. My cats have their claws and have encountered dogs before. They aren't keen on them but have shown some adaptability with the two other cats we've had in the house so maybe?
And of course I have to clear it with my roommate and landlord, but I think they'd both be amenable.
