Iron rich foods:
Red meat, liver
Egg yolks
Dark, leafy greens (only if also eaten with vitamin C to aid absorption)
Beans, legumes
Vitamins (be forewarned, some people have digestive issues with iron pills, I know I do)

They don't want mine, either, because of the CJD.
I have no idea why having low iron is bad for me, but I suppose I should find out and then see how I feel when it's closer to normal.
From what I remember, low iron can mean getting tired easily, low energy, that sort of thing.
Every time I think about going to donate blood, it's still too soon after getting a tattoo. But since it's been, what, three years since my last one, I should try again.

It's good they are taking a stand against the census. Today the government is asking for your name, age, and race. Next thing you know they'll being trying to get your address and social security number.
