I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Buffy ,'End of Days'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Bonny, good luck! I love it!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

bonny, I applaud your decision and the courage it takes to do it. I feel your pain, literally. I've fainted, slapped people upon coming to, cried hysterically, and had panic attacks from blood draws. I have type O- blood, and I always feel bad that I've never had the cojones to donate.

So I'll make you a deal, to make me feel better and give you further reason to keep your resolve: you do it, and I will too. Overcoming an irrational fear will be a good thing for me to do on my 47th birthday.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Bonny, that is a brilliant and lovely idea.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Bonny, that's awesome. Is there any way you can take the dog with you?

Zen. I just. You. Well. I'm crying now. I'm not even sure why this means so much to me but, thank you. I appreciate the faith and the courage on your part. Yes. I will do it. And, if you step out of your comfort zone...to even try, it will make the victory even sweeter.

If ONLY. Though, he absorbs my anxiety like a sponge and I'd hate to do to him, what happens inside me.

Over Christmas, when I went all shocky from an injury, he immediately barfed. Poor boo.

Though you are right, the one thing, upon which I can focus to do ANYTHING, is him.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I can't donate anymore, and I'd feel like you and zenkitty were helping take up the slack, bonny. I was a six-gallon-plus donor and a platelet donor.

Go ahead and admit you're nervous when you get to the person checking your medical information, i.e., the first person you see who isn't a volunteer. He or she can aim you at the best sticker. Be sure to drink plenty of water starting the day before; the main cause of dizziness is loss of blood volume. Also, it's probably best to look away when the needle is going in. That seems to be the worst time for a lot of people, including me.
