No opinion on either city although I think I'd definitely opt for Spanish cuisine.
ION, TIRED. My in-laws are descending on Wednesday and it's our opportunity to show them we didn't completely lose our minds moving out here.
So I am cleaning like a madwoman and we're finishing unpacking the last few boxes. At least, what we can and we have homes for.
We just found "Party Down" on Netflix instant and we're mainlining season 1. Hello "Veronica Mars" cast!
Yay! It's a really funny show.
There's an awesome guest star every episode and we just watched one filmed on the Queen Mary. I was all, "I've been there!" every time they turned a corner. Plus very fun getting to see Enrico Colantoni swear like a sailor.
Wow. You guys talk a lot.
Hey Shir! I'm glad to hear your puppy's feeling better.
Thanks, Laga. Though right now, he doesn't seem so good.
Maybe he's still sleepy. Maybe we should have put him down yesterday. Don't know. Almost don't want to know.
This is taking so much from me.
It's so hard to know what's best for them.
Never heard "rail" but I figured it out. I always used well.
I didn't even KNOW there were different kinds of Blue Mountain coffee! I've had it once; it was wunderbar.
Oh, hey, my parents got us a nice little espresso machine for our wedding, so I am cappucino queen. Which is awesome. Cafe au lait, baby.
I can't think of anything I am a food snob about. I have peculiarities -- I have to have whole milk or stronger in my coffee, lemon juice in about everything, and sea salt. Hmm. I may be a snob about using butter rather than margarine, but it doesn't have to be, say, Irish butter churned by sassy virgins or anything.
I dunno. I like lots of excellent stuff, but am fine with less high quality stuff, too. I've never been able to tell a difference in vodka, but I've never set out on a deliberate vodka tasting mission, either.
Jilli, what's Pinky vodka? Also, I want to try absinthe reallllly badly, but I would want to try the illegal hallucinatory kind. Doesn't seem worth it otherwise. Is it?
Oh, thank God. He was just sleepy. He's fully awake and loving now.
