Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
My brother and SiL lived in the south of Spain when he was stationed in Rota.
Spanish cuisine uses a lot of seafood, a lot of stews and one-pot dishes like paella, a lot of sausage, a lot of wine and cheese. It's not much like Mexican food at all.
If someone could provide a pill or a blender powder to provide all necessary nutrients
Bachelor chow! We totally need to do this.
I can taste the difference between a "good" vodka and a cheap vodka even in a dirty vodka martini. Which is why I don't think the addition of olive juice ruins a good vodka; I think a good vodka increases the quality of the martini. Why use inferior quality anything in anything?
Yay for Matt's new job and Orange Kitty's new home!
Yay Matt!
Rum is far too sweet for me. I have no idea what I'd mix with it to cut that.
Since I started drinking it again recently, I mix it with very tart lime-aid and pour it over ice. This is a pretty good use for cheap rum.
Prague or BarcelonaThey'd be nearly neck and neck for me, although Prague has a slight edge. I don't speak Czech or Spanish, though. If I did, that would probably tip the balance for me.
I don't know that I'd want to go to Barcelona in the middle of summer. But I'd love to see the Gaudis.

How about the fall?
But I'd love to see the Gaudis.
What's that?
Czech cuisine is...kolaches?
don't know much about Prague, but have architect friends that love Barcelona. Ditto painters

Weird looking buildings t not an Art Nouveau fan when it comes to buildings
Huh. I went Googling - I hadn't realized Gaudi was officially Art Nouveau; most Nouveau seems so stately and elegant and Gaudi always feels like a brightly colored H.R. Giger.
Prague would be slightly ahead of Barcelona for me, for ridiculous and vague gothy reasons. Plus, you could pick me up a bottle of absinthe! (I already have absinthe from Barcelona.)
