Angel: Is that what you think you are--a hero? Spike: Saved the world didn't I? Angel: Once. Talk to me after you've done it a couple more times.

'Destiny'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Many sympathies, smonster and family.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry for your loss, smonster. {{smonster}}

Easy extraction ~ma, Hil. DH#1 had his wisdom teeth out and was back working on the radio the next day. My experience not so great.

Quick relief ~ma, askye.

Resume ~ma, Jilli.

If I could get a little stop the rain ~ma, that would be nice. We really need the rain very badly, but meara is here on vacation and I want her to enjoy South Beach! And the place that I was going to take her to lunch at is outside. May revise that plan.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'll be going to a Claim Back The Night thing, after apparently a wave of sexual harassments began in places-where-I-walk/ed-a-lot-and-yet-never-noticed recently. Never aimed towards me, and I walk there alone, a lot.

I'm not sure about it because while I'm sure it's needed, I'm not sure that's the best way of action. I'm not even sure if and how much the police involved in the story, but I know the university pretty much shook it's head at the complaints and that's it, so I think it's worth it. Then again, it's been a long while since someone seriously called me a hairy legged feminist, so just for balance sake I'll join them.

So tired.

Now, who wants a dead my little pony? [link]

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Shir, I asked you something here yesterday, but it's not a question of general interest, so I shall ask you on e-mail.

Good on ya for doing the demonstration.

Awesome dead 'my little pony', that.

I am tired too. No work of any note is being done today. I am going to have a nap.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I was in the freezer, checking to see if I had any bittersweet chocolaate for the chocolate cheesecake for tomorrow. I digging underneath some stuff and found half a sleeve of Thin Mints. SCORE. (and I did the vacuum pack thing, so they should be okay). I resisted eating them right away, they will be my treat for when I finish baking today!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well done Past!Vortex!

Hope the extraction goes easily, Hil, and doesn't impact your work too much.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Dude! That never happens to me.

(The Thin Mints, anyway. Hil's situation I have too much experience with.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Wisdom teeth extraction is Not Fun, but it is over relatively quickly.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I had it done earlier this year, and I survived! Hope everything goes smoothly, Hil.
