Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Okay, I'm perusing Aromaleigh's site, and I'm impressed. I'll be buying some samples and we'll see if I've finally found Makeup Nirvana.

I'm getting the pig!

Happy happy wedded bliss to you both, Erin!!

Aw, beth, I'm so happy No Name Orange Boy has you and Matt to look after him and give him access to a couch so he can finally get some deep sleep.

Part of my difficulty in finding one, I know, is my reluctance to shell out cash for something that likely won't be right and can't be returned.

Zenkitty - I am quite pale and pink and I've been using Everyday Minerals for years now. AND you can try them free!

What colors, Nicole?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Random note: We just got mail from the McWaringles, and when Emmett turns on his phone after his game is over and checks his messages he is going to...well, not squee, because I don't think 13-1/2-year-old boys do squee, ever, but he's totally going to bounce and make preadolescent boy sounds indicative of being thoroughly, utterly chuffed.

Analysis: You guys ROCK OUT LOUD.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm getting the pig!

I use both Intensive Fair and Fair-medium but the multi-tasking neutral is great, too. If you order the full Fair sample line, you'll have more than enough to play around with and figure out if you like it (weight, coverage, etc).

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

OH YAY! I'm glad it arrived.

(That's all Tom, BTW.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I got to have dinner with Ginger tonight. She's a delightful buffista who showed me some of Atlanta, regaled me with stories of the city's history, and introduced me to a wonderful SW fusion restaurant (with yummy margaritas). I had a lovely time—thanks, Ginger!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Excellent for new kitty, beth.

I have been the living prey to mosquitoes all night long. Wanna die a little bit now. Getting back to school is no fun, esp. when the intimidating French grammar expects me (les articles, my worst nightmare. WE DON'T USE THEM ALMOST AT ALL IN HEBREW! And oh, hey. I noticed that as my French is getting better, my comprehension of how and when to use English grammar is getting worse. So, I apologize, and such. I never knew that learning two Latin languages would be such a pain in the ass).

Doctor Who didn't ahemed last night (again, me with the killing someone. What's up with that, universe?), so I might have to reschedule watching it for tomorrow night - tonight will be Holocaust remembrance eve, and while I won't go to the ceremonies this year, I still find it a bit inappropriate.

Now edited with a Moment of Pride: my sis needed to read a book in English for her psychometric tests in July, "didn't care what it is about" (her English is pretty good, and she's more fluent than yours truly in speaking it, but they're making all of them read something).
She just left my room with C.S. Lewis' "Out of the Silent Planet" (I warned her. She didn't listen), and "Will the Vampire People...".

And she laughs at geeks, yes?
