Eh, it's happened to me, Aims. And I've never been pregnant.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Consciousness status roll call!
Vodka imbibed.
Giants are undefeated, and the A's are trying to reel in their fourth win. They're both in first place! That hasn't happened since we had the freakin' '89 quake.
I've had no booze today, but wish I had. I'm in the not-so-wild part of Michigan known as Livonia for a cousin's funeral. Tomorrow, after the service and pot luck, which is being thrown by his Jehovah's Witness sisters, I will go to a family BBQ out past Jackson and drink beer! Lots of beer. And make my brother drive.
Heh. I've just realized I've already written public domain slash.
Seen this evening: a fudgesicle inexplicably painted on the side of an old building. Random.
HI HI HI!! You are all awesome! I am married, and it was a fucking beautiful day here, and I will have pictures tomorrow and i totally giggled through the short ceremony and everything was beautiful and bloomy and blue skies and flowers.
My hair still looks great, my shoes were killer, we had a chef's table at the restaurant and drinks were set aflame.
My husband (oh, wow) is asleep with a beatific look on his face; he worked half a day and was at work at 6 am today, so I do not begrudge at all!
My dress fit like a dream, everything went off really very perfectly and I spent the afternoon and evening in a pretty dress, staring at/being stared at by a wonderful, funny, geeky, awesome guy who I know loves me so much. Which is clearly insane because I am a whack job, but he loves me! And I love him, and I really hope no one ever fucks with him because I would wreak some seriously bloody vengeance. With zombies and robots.
We had loads and loads of sangria and tapas (hint: go to reception dinners informally at happy hour! We saved $250!) Then we went to some dive bar where you can smoke on one side of the bar and the "inside" people are on the other side. And everyone got tipsy (ok, some got hammered, and it was lovely happy hammered) and it was a wonderful, wonderful night.
And my dad wore a tie and suit jacket, which is the only thing that made me tear up a bit, as he HATES THEM LIKE VODKA ON BURNS and...he wore it for my wedding. Oh, sniff.
I am happy.
Oh, Erin. That may be the best thing I've ever heard. I hope to get there some day.
I am happy.
I am happy for the both of you.
What an excellent wedding.
It really, really was a great day.
Am tired, but still a bit too wired to go to sleep yet.
OH! And my folks present was to pay for our dinner, and an espresso maker, coffee, a grinder, cups and one of the tech charger thingies that you can charge you cell and itouch and ipod at once.
Tech and coffee -- my parents ROCK!
Congratulations, Erin!!!
