I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Actually, just ate about half of it, and now I'm in a chocolate coma. Super rich. I wrapped up the other half for later.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Any of you Mamas have tips for stuff I can do out of the house with a sometimes fussy infant? We stroll around the neighborhood, at the local park, and at the mall. I'm hoping for other ideas...

I'm not a mama but I know about Monday Morning Mommy Movies.

Trust my rage

I used to shop at kid consignment stores when I was feeling bored. Super cheap and a chance to get out. I also used to walk a lot. I suspect Shane is still too youg for a jogging stroller but I did a lot of that too.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Harvey is lying, not precisely on my lap, but in the crevice between my tummy and the desk, purring away. He has one paw up on my right arm, and his head resting on that paw. Very cute and snuggly. He needs your purr-vibes now, please. The results of last night's ordeal by being locked in the bathroom until he produced pee are in - urinary pH is up to 8 (it was 7 before) and the struvite crystals are now greatly increased. Vet strongly advises switching him back to the Iams Veterinary Low pH food over using supplement pills of dl methionine, as that is looking at a life-time commitment of (possibly several) pill(s) a day, and the symptoms he shows of food allergies are not that bad compared to the risk of developing a blockage should med compliance become difficult. So. I have bought a few cans. We will try it. And it is possible that he might not have a problem with this food, because it hass a different species of fish in it than the one that gave him such itchy ears.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Poor Harvey. I hope the new food works out for him.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Harvey and his humans are in my thoughts.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, Harvey. Good health to the kitty.
