Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was wondering about that, since I thought I was just coming up on 5 years myself.

This is totally true.

Except you've just crossed over to five without a doubt because I moved in late Feb / early March (okay, I don't know the dates but I know we did an early birthday dinner for my sister before I left so it was before March 8) I think. Fuck math. We used to be friends, man. Now? I don't know *what* we are.

If I don't move, buy a new car or know people having a baby, I can't remember what year anything happened.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

smonster, I was just poking around supernaturalwiki.com (don't ask--I was trying to avoid a certain Excel spreadsheet of doom), and I just saw that you're mentioned in it. PADDYWHACK.

Ah, yes, my 15 min of semi-BNF-ery. Which, teeny as it was, still managed to spawn some wank. I knew that was in there, actually, a friend wrote the entry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which, teeny as it was, still managed to spawn some wank

I was about to ask "for reals?" but, you know, fandom. Also, SPN.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Exs? That's what it sounds like anyway.

Being unemployed is generally of the suck, but on the first day of my period its pretty rad, I can just hole up here, watch Dr. Who, and take muscle relaxers.

Our wings are not tired.

Packed three largish boxes of clothes, shoes, and scarves.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I pretty much finished my dissertation today. I had it mostly finished, with a list of things to look at or fix or finish, and I got all of those done. It'll probably still need several rounds of editing, but all the content is there. Also went to the farmers market, where I got a free brownie, as well as some fruits and vegetables that I paid for. Still no job, but 185 applications.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Woohoo dissertation!
