GC, that's a lovely, kind note. Planting a tree or naming a star sound like incredibly sweet, loving ideas.
And oh, what a gorgeous family you have!
Sadly, this is probably the best picture of Matilda in The Dress; she was having a "No pictures! Don't look!" day.
That one's pretty cute (and gleeful), but you can't see her matching tights and shoes.
In this one, it's like she's saying, "And
that
is why democracy is the worst form of government, except for all others."

Matilda is so adorable - and BIG!!! Love her Easter dress.
Dress looks great on her, however she felt about it at the time.
How about this one?
She's a cute thing. That's a really cute dress.

Hee. Will you guys be around on Sunday? I'm going to be in Ze City and was thinking of stopping by and tossing the bunny for a bit.
What could I send/do to honor his memory? I can't even imagine what she's gone through. So horribly horribly sad.
I have planted a tree in someone's honor before. It's something alive and it continues to grow so it isn't forgotten. Or at least that's how I've always seen it. Though I love the idea of a star as well. Especially if they are particularly religious.
Oh, smonster, she
loves
the dress. She's just very fickle about when and where pictures of her face are permitted; this is why almost all the super-cute pictures of her lately are also way off center, because I have to sneakily grab a shot in passing. If I try to take an obvious and official picture, she resists.
Sunday...not sure. We're usually in the East Bay for a good chunk of Sunday, returning around midafternoon and spending the rest of the evening loafing at home. What time will you be around?
