Man, you just get darker and darker, and the weird thing is, your aura? Beige.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Realtor replied with:

Most associations cover the water and sewer in the association fees. This one does not. I do not know what the charges are for this. I will call the current tenant and see what she has had to pay and let you know.

Not the point. I don't care what the association ACTUALLY covers, I care about what YOU SAID they cover. And I already called the water company by way of not being an idiot.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Seriously - does she not understand that she gave you wrong information???

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Can you pull out of this agreement and find another place to live? When are you supposed to be moving?

Trust my rage

does she not understand that she gave you wrong information???

I think she does. She's just trying to avoid saying "I made a mistake". I suspect she wants Aimee to say first "well, then, we aren't moving".

Do you need an attorney for that? I know that in California you just submit a piece of paper to the court.

I have no idea, but that would be really nice and easy. My friend asked me and I was like a) not my area and b) not my state. But this friend's daughter is now living in England so she might need some help getting it done.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Back from second date: nah. Ain't gonna happen.

I'll break the news to him later. Would have done it in person (and he's a good guy, so he deserves "in person" and "not over the phone") but it was hardly the place to do it.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hey All, one of the Quake-proximate checking in from San Diego. I was actually in the backwater known as Hemet when the quake hit so I don't know how it felt here, but the only victims at my place were a Spike action figure (in box) and The Monster Book of Monsters. Both seem none the worse for wear for their tumble to the floor. It was a crazy long quake (25 seconds feels like about 3 and a half minutes when you're in it), but was really (comparatively) smooth, very rolly.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went to the doctor today and got a prescription for stronger painkillers and a new kind of ankle brace. I need to go to yet another doctor to get fitted for the new brace. I was also able to meet with my advisor for a little while, and it was actually helpful.

One more day of Passover.

The doctor also told me that getting the new ankle brace would be a preventive measure so that I wouldn't need to get surgery, or so that I won't need the surgery so soon. I realize now that I didn't ask him what type of surgery. That would probably be something that I should know.

Slow night tonight.

I'm trying to decide on a haircut. My hair is down to my waist now, and that's just way too long. I could get it just trimmed a few inches, or cut to just below shoulder length like I usually do, or something else, but I'm not sure what.

I don't know. We might be able to, we might not. I'm terrified. We are supposed to move in t looks at watch 25 days.

This is my suspicion as well. I think that she thinks that because we are kind of desperate and don't have great credit etc that we'll take the condo no matter what. I have news.
