[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Happy delivery, CL!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy baby day, Callaluna!

New Buffista Sprog! Whee!

How far are we from world domination yet?

Datee called. Hearing how beat up from last night I am, he said he'll call tomorrow.

Which is good, because right now I don't even have the strength to pack the bag for the 2 days sci-fi convention in Tel Aviv, not to mention talking with strangers.

I need some good TV marathon to nap in front of it. After it, and possibly a massage, I might be able to be in touch with humans again.

The status is NOT quo.

Congrats and good luck, CL!

Ugh. I had horrible dreams last night. Not nightmares, just the kind of off-putting rejection dreams that made me wake up feeling out of sorts and loserish.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Kristin, I saw you'd asked about someplace to get complete outfits assembled - have you tried a department store's personal shopper service? might cost, but it could save you some aggravation.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I skipped a whole bunch of posts. I have survived the seder. For a change, this year my uncle was grilling me for half an hour about where I've applied for jobs and why I haven't applied to others and why I don't have a job yet. Also, everybody got cushions this year, because the chairs are kind of falling apart and the seats have no support without an extra cushion.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Callaluna, happy birth day!

omnis, I want that Nissan too! And the garage to put it in.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ohhh. Nordstrom's has an awesome personal shopper service. The Closet Therapist had a great experience: [link] I love them because when Nordie's closed down in Fairbanks, they offered personal shopping services to the one in Anchorage and discounted the shipping. (The shopper picks out a bunch of stuff, sends it up, the customer (aka my mom) keeps what she likes and returns the rest.)

Shoppers work on commission, so you might have to take a hard line on budget, and Nordie's might be a little staid, but I do really love them.
