'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love the hair, Beth!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Your hair looks great, beth!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yes, Beth, looks good. Not at all like a comb over.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aw, owls!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Great hair, beth!

And yes, I'd love to give Datee a second chance. Even a third and a forth chance: this guy is worthy. But I'm afraid of misleading and hurting him, in case I still won't find him physically attractive afterward. (clarification: my definitions of attractiveness seems having almost nothing in common than the rest of the world).

So. I'm up, trying to wake up. Had a good night sleep and I'm having my last chametz breakfast (and I'm totally gonna need a reminder not to go automatically to the cornflakes tomorrow morning).

And, best news last: Lou stopped bleeding. He's wonderful as always, currently manning his position of "in the way" (he has the gift of sitting exactly in the way of you moving heavy furniture. He's amazing, that way).

And: owls!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Snow predicted here tomorrow. Just as we've moved onto what is laughingly misnamed 'British Summer Time'...

Our wings are not tired.

Heavy rain this morning, but it seems to be calming down. Guess that means I should get out from under my blankee on the couch and get to the office. Kids are on Spring Break so no early morning drive this week. Woo! I will have to do a lot of working from home so that we aren't party central though.

Ginger, I hope the finger is doing better this morning.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ahhh! Ginger! I hope you're doing OK.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The finger was much less painful this morning than yesterday morning. I'm waiting for a call back to schedule having it put back together. Whitefont for the squeamish, which includes me: The wasn't enough skin left for them to stitch it up in the ER.

Putting the compression garment on my other arm was loads of fun, though.

I am really regretting my decision on Saturday to put off washing my hair.

I was supposed to go home for Easter, but obviously I haven't done anything towards that end.

I'm glad Lou is more himself today, Shir. Hearing about him makes me want to scritch Mr Peabody and give him an extra biscuit.
