'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

No reason for you to, Hil. You might be able to eat their fries, but they are not extraordinary fries.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The internet tells me that, if you order a "veggie burger" at In-n-Out, you'll get a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, sauce, and fried onions. Although I love fried onions, that doesn't quite qualify as a veggie burger. Although it is more or less what I usually get at Subway when I'm going there with friends.

Hil, I thought of you in London. At several pubs, I ordered a veggie burger and they were the best I've ever had. Finally asked one of the peeps serving at the pub, and he said it's the Indian influence; their veggie burgers are like curried beans or somesuch. YUM.

International veggie burgers are fun. When I was in Ireland, at a chain called Eddie Rockets that was definitely the same as Johnny Rockets here in the states, the veggie burger used potato rather than bread crumbs.

In Israel, they use mushrooms. Mostly portobello. And I love and adore them for doing this.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

If I ever find myself in Israel, I'll make a point of ordering a veggie burger at some point. Unless I'm too busy trying totally new foods.

ION, I think I just got spammed by an old friend from junior high. Same deal as Teppy's spam. It's just, ages ago I lost my address book out of my yahoo account, so lost her email address. And I could not remember her married name to look her up. This one time? God bless the spambots.

There's the Tuesdays and Fridays food market in Dizengof center, and one can have a full nutritious, delicious and local meal just from the tastings they offer. I had an excellent veggie cholent [link] last time I was there.

Even though I hate Tel Aviv, I usually try to schedule my visits there to these days, and drag a friend for lunch and catching up there.

So who wants to come to Florida and make me go through all my stuff to get ready to move? Ugh. It really is essential that I move at least one a decade so that the closets get purged. Again I say, ugh.

I'm actually on a plane leaving Florida today. Won't be back for about a month. You'll be moved by then won't you?

Yes, I'll be about a half hour south of where I am now. It's not like I need to do the whole move in one day or anything, but this fact isn't helping my avoidance behavior.

Anyway, when you get back to Orlando it is still only 3 hours away. DH is going to be there next weekend for a tournament again. Let us know when you are around. If you get a day off (hahahahahaha) you can come to Fort Lauderdale, or we can see if we can make an escape.

This past year or so has been so insanely busy we have missed many opportunities to see people and do stuff. We are trying to fix that. Moving is part of the simplification of life plan.
