I like pie well enough, I guess, but about 95 times out of 100 I will choose cake instead. Except cherry, blueberry or blackberry pies--and even then it'd have to be a really good pie vs. a merely acceptable cake.

Same here, beth. We went out to a restaurant that I used to love years ago (J Alexanders). Unfortunately they've completely changed the menu and the new version of my old favorite salad is nast.
