I know there are - when I went to the kick off metting last fall, it was obvious that the GSUSA does not feel the same way about teh gays as BSUSA does.
I'd love to work in our council office as a membership specialist. I would be kick ass at it. I told Joe last night that I wouldn't be happy until I got EVERY GIRL EVERY WHERE in a GS troop.
My friend runs camp, for Maryland. Which is sad, because we never see her in the summer. And she runs lots of activities all year round, which is cool. She does other stuff at the office, the rest of the year. Membership is part of it.
In Baltimore? Because the Baltimore council office is totally hiring right now. For office stuff that I totally want to do! Ha!
Aw...I read the most touching Sun story(cause you know, it's my fake hometown) about this Daisy troop that meets at the women's prison and this little girl Justice...it killed me.

I remember reading an article a while ago about a Girl Scout troop for girls whose mothers were in prison. I think it was in LA, but it was several years ago that I read it, so I could be misremembering.
"A Girl Scout Named Justice" has a certain ring to it.
