So I'm at the local community college job fair/non-profit expo trolling for volunteers. It's making me sad because once they find out we are low-income housing, they start telling me their stories and it makes me depressed how many people need housing and I wish my agency had more money to buy more buildings to house more people.

So gossip around the office indicates that the position I applied for has possibly been filled. I did not get an interview.
So I'm going to sulk for a bit, and then try and concentrate on the fun I will have this weekend at the Vampire Ball.

The gossip also says that the person hired was someone who had worked with the team before, and I can understand that. When the position was posted, I'd only been on the team for something like two weeks, and was a bit of an unknown. But still, it stings.
