Okay, so I gave in to temptation and replied:
Seriously? I understand that your feelings are hurt and you are disappointed. I'm disappointed, too. But that is some passive aggressive shit and I don't deserve it. I have been honest with you from start to finish and truly care about you. Just because you included a winky doesn't change the underlying sentiment.
A refresher -
amicable - characterized by friendship and good will
That's your idea of amicable? I might have let it pass if it weren't for some of the jabs you tossed my way during our conversation the other night.
My personal philosophy is that whether or not a relationship works out for the long haul, I appreciate the time we spent together and whatever I learned about myself or the other person along the way. I'm sorry you don't seem to feel the same.
I almost didn't respond at all, but you solicited input on things you "did wrong." If you are truly interested in that kind of info, well, here it is. The fact that your attitude towards me changed on a dime once the relationship ended? You might want to examine that behavior.
I'll probably regret it. But hey, I can always block his email.
it looks like whoever got into Trudy's email is now spoofing the recipients' email addresses.
I felt all neglected when I didn't get Trudy's spam. But it is all better now that I have Teppy's.
I got the TeppySpam and I did notice that it was not as fabulous and charming as actual TeppyMail would surely have been. I propose that if we're all going to be spamming each other anyway, we should be twice as gorgeous and sexy and witty at each other in order to keep the balance!
Which blog, Vortex?
Angry Black Bitch And believe me, she calls these guys out on a regular basis and is not afraid to call a spade a spade.
...and I'm regretting it. Upside is, I now have *no* regrets about the breakup.
I know I should go into the office and work on my dissertation today. I really don't want to. It's not that I'm not feeling well or anything, just that I have no motivation.
Which blog, Vortex? Because my initial reaction to that paragraph is that there were so many "isolated incidents." Or, as Ian Fleming said in Goldfinger, "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action."
Well, she's not saying it's coincidental. She's pointing out that once you've decided to encourage and push angry, borderline racist crazy-talk it's a pretty fucking neat trick to keep your crazies
just
on this side of the line without tipping over into doing, well, what angry racist crazies do.
I really need to get up and get to the office. I stayed home yesterday, and I'm going to miss two days next week because of Passover, and I've got a bunch of work I need to do. I just can't get motivated, at all. I want to go back to sleep.
Hil, you'll feel better if you get something done. I know the getting started is tough on a no-motivation day like today, so just do one step at a time.
