tommyrot, you're gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop drivin' that hot rod Lincoln.
Scola made me laugh SO HARD. Which I totally needed this morning.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And once I decided to find out how fast my parents' Mercury Marquis with the 460 engine would go. Answer: 120 mph.
! You do know the kid's car was a Grand Marquis. I'm grateful the thing was like a tank. Crunched on 3 sides, but he crawled out. I just got back from having him checked out and the doctor indicated he will be sore 7-10 days, but no real harm done. He said the bracing for impact and the punch in the nose from the airbag was the culprit. Also thanked him for wearing his seatbelt. Gave him scripts for anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers, Brendon is passing on the muscle relaxers for now. He prefers being clear headed and able to walk.
The car itself was a '95 and not worth much, the value was the absurd amount of electronics and sound system. All that stuff is fine and will be pulled out before we junk the trashed body. Of course, his parents bought him this car - this one car. Welcome to adulthood kiddo, we'll see what you can afford to replace it.
On the happy anniversary front, not doing anything tonight except maybe walking to a bar in the hood. This weekend we are going to St. Augustine Beach to stay in the same hotel where we stayed on our honeymoon - 20 years ago today. DH hopes they still have the Ms PacMan machine in the lobby.

That's so cool!
DH hopes they still have the Ms PacMan machine in the lobby. So on your Honeymoon, your newly DH spent time in the lobby with some hussy. And now, 20 years later, he is hoping that same trollop is still there? And you are ok with this? Damn. You ARE the best wife ever!
Glad the kid is ok. Hope he learns the lesson of safe driving, take care of your stuff, and now, saving money for when things don't go as planned. Good for him for wearing seatbelt!
Happy anniversary, Laura and DH! Hope your weekend getaway is wonderful.
Happy Anniversary Laura and DH! I'm sorry it had such a rough start, but sounds like plans are in place for later.
Aw, Happy Anniversary, Laura. Sorry it started with a fright. I am so, so glad that Brendon was wearing his seatbelt.

There were at least a half dozen police and fire guys at the scene and I think every last one said something to the effect of, "we've all been there kid." They were very kind and compassionate.
The McDonald's here is all out of shamrock shakes, but I made up for it by spending way too much on the Liberty of London line at Target.
