The corset image isn't going anywhere, headmistress or no.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That reminds me, I'm going to have to do some internet scrubbing to make sure the images are all protected from public eyes. I've done a pretty good job already, but it will become really crucial if I get a leadership position.
(writing down all the cat vocalizations for future use)
The best one I ever got was from Sophie. I said to her, "I love you," and she replied "meh meur moo" in perfect cadence. Fortunately DH was there to witness, for she has never done that again despite many amusing vocalizations. Funny little critters, always surprising me.
Beth & Matt, sorry to hear about AndyCat. What a great name BTW. I always figure a cat who is still interested in food at least has something to live for.
Agree with DCJ that repeatedly outliving the pet friends makes the eternal life concept seem maybe a little less fun. Besides, I'm sure I would eventually become bored and lonely if I were not mortal.
did the image of a patent leather corset come to anyone else's mind? Just me?

It has come to my realization, that the abreviation of my screen name, O_A, or Oa, is the name of the home planet for Green Lantern Corp. Green Lantern being my nickname at work.
Hal, John, Kyle, Alan or ...
Guy?
Not to sound like Hec, but we've got to stop talking about cats.
Kittenish spent a very early morning at the emergency vet with, what we seriously suspect, a UTI. Ah, stress.
Still, she's cuddled with me now. So I suppose we can still talk furry things.
Hal Jordan all the way.
Thanks, y'all. I'm slowly shifting over into a "what happens, happens; deal, BITCA!" phase, but I had to have a day of WTFuckeryOMGFlailSnarlCry.
That sounds about right though - you deal with what is, but you take a little time to scream about it too.
Kristin, I think you'd rock something like that. Would it mean being out of the classroom though? Or, for long anyway?
You will not believe how much better your life is without that commute, so I really hope it works out.
Plus, the way we keep communicating and working through (all of the) issues that keep popping up just reinforces what a good guy he is and how well we are working together.
Much as the situation itself sucks, this right here is pretty dang sweet.
Good luck Kristin and meara on your various upgrade attempts.
