Next he's gonna call you a Polar Bear, Jess. Watch out!

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
...not sure what to say here. Please apologize to your DH? You're welcome? See you tonight?
Hee. I'll admit, I was taken aback. It doesn't often happen that I dream about buffistas but it's a bonus when I do. I should be thanking YOU.
Cheeks!
Nom nom nom!
Aims, I hope Em's alright and the situation wasn't too dire.
DH came home at lunch and told me to go. So I went out for the day. Hit the bookstore and picked up a new bio of Abigail Adams, got a mani and pedi, ate lunch at Applebee's and then went to a coffeeshop for a quiet hour of reading.
I think we're gonna dial back the Adderall by 2.5 mg. She was doing really really well and then we upped the dose on Saturday and at 2:30-3:00 every day since then she has a massive meltdown shrieking and screaming and total freak out. So we'll do 7.5 mg in the morning and if she thinks she needs it, 2.5mg at lunch from the nurse.
Poor noodle. It sucks having to regulate meds as an adult. As a kid it's gotta totally suck.
Poor Em. Is she doing ok now?
She is. She took a nap and had a better evening. She had the neighbor girls over and there was a brief moment of upsetedness, but it cooled off.
Poor Em. It sounds like you're on top of monitoring the meds and getting it right.
As if not enough. Now I have jury duty April 14th.
:: pout :: if I take the new job, there doesn't seem much chance of getting to f2f :: pout ::
I am very surprised that I've never sat on a jury. I lived in Virginia for 10 years, registered a car and voted. I got called one time, but didn't get to actually sit because the defendant copped a plea at the last second.
I've lived in DC for over two years. I own a home, pay taxes, register a car and vote, yet never been called.
I don't think that it's a lawyer thing. Hell, in DC, judges get called and seated.
