'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Poor Mooshu. (I love the name.)

Cosmo is starting to try to make banzai runs at the front door again. She wants to go outside SO badly.

I may have to get a cat tube or a hamster ball or something.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

With alcoholics, you HAVE to set boundaries and stick to them. Otherwise you will continue to be subjected to destructive behavior, manipulation, and lies. It's unfortunate that you have been put in this position, but believe me, she doesn't care that she's done so, and will not act in any regard or with any respect for your feelings.

I do know this, and TCG and I have an agreed upon set of rules for when we will and will not call the police. We are going to let our landlord know what happened, which covers us if we ever feel we have gotten to the point where we can't live here anymore. Yesterday was bad, but we both agreed that it wasn't necessary to call the cops.

Tons of ~ma for Mooshu.

And now I am going to try to get back some of the optimism I started today with. We are headed to a poetry reading that a friend of ours is featuring at and then home to watch the Oscars.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Sounds goood , sj . and the rest of your day sounds fun.

We are headed to an art reception, soon.

if you ever have a vet suggest assisted feeding through a tube ( like the one in our cat) do it. In just 2 .5 days we have seen a remarkable difference. Andy is much more like himself and is eating more on his own. Seriously, I think his stomach forgot food is good.

Our wings are not tired.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Puppy~ma for Mooshu. Poor guy.

And I'm glad to hear that Andy cat is doing better.

My own pride are sleeping on my bed. In an interesting role reversal, when I got up from my nap, it was Sammie who took over my warm spot, and Harvey who continued being dead to the world.

“Not dead yet!”

Oh yay, Andy cat.

And thanks for the ~ma, everyone. I spent most of yesterday afternoon tearing up and feeling as if I'd fucked up utterly somewhere along the way. I so hate seeing the four-legged babies suffer, since it's so much harder for them to articulate what's bothering them, you know?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Poor pup.

Hooray for Andy cat recovery!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Barb...you did everything you could for Mooshu and he's being taken care of today. Don't beat yourself up. ~ma to Mooshu.

Yay, for Andy cat!

My cat is a bit...not mad...wary of me today. I had the nerve to trim the claws on one paw. He knows another paw needs to be done and is a bit jumpy waiting for it to happen.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for Andy, pray for Mooosh.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So glad Andy Cat is doing better!
