chores - i do most, but than I am home. I never tell DH to help, but he isn't allowed to complain because all he has to do is clean. He is better at cleaning in the kitchen and he can cook . I sometimes do direct the cleaning, but it is usually because of we are doing a big cleaning for an event. I wouldn't mind if he did more , but it doesn't bug me that he doesn't
out of cookies. :: pout :: How is it they only lasted two days? Wait? they lasted two days?!? Wow! Actually, that is some self control! Woot. but, alas, out of cookies now. I should do dishes. And other chores. But. Don't want to. Not very motivated when it comes to them.
Can't sleep. It's not that I'm in too much pain to sleep, like I have been the past few nights. I just can't sleep. Can't get the temperature right, can't get my sheets to stop wrinkling against my skin, can't sleep.
There is a giggling baby in my house. This pleases me.
He had a checkup today. Still growing well, around the 9th percentile for height and head circumference. He's sociable too, whacking the nurse's desk and then looking up at her to invite her to join in. (Of course, he was hanging onto me for dear life when we first got there and he saw a strange person. He loosens up after a few minutes though.)

He's big on mirroring right now. If I clap, he'll clap; if I shake my head around, he'll do the same (he loves that one). So today I was drumming on the table to entertain him, and he decided to join in. When we got to the nurse's office, it seems he felt like continuing.

am allergic to eggs (and the chickens what lay them) and all this talk of eggs cooked in many varieties is making me seriously queasy. Funny how that mind body link works. I loves me some sushi but avoid the conveyor belt place close to me because there are always many plates of tamgo passing by and just seeing all that egg makes my tummy uncomfortable.
ION, because of Alaska Airline's new police about charging for checked baggage, i am for the first time ever travelling with only carry on luggage. This is bugging me because the smallest size i have of contact lense solution is 4oz which is over what i can carry onboard, and i don't have a smaller squeezy-type bottle to transfer some into. *sigh* If it's only half full, will they be nice and not confiscate it? It still fits easily into my quart baggie....
