Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

Iced mint tea is so delicious in the summer.

I ate lunch and then went and sat in the sun and read. I'm finally starting to feel like we might see spring.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I hate overcooked eggs.

Thinking about doing a cocktail tonight that involves raw egg whites.

ETA: Maybe This one or this one.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

All this talk of eggs is making me want a Dutch baby.

Holy cow. I was unfamiliar with a Dutch baby until a few weeks ago when we went to brunch with some friends at a place that specializes in them. They are magnificent to behold. (I had a seafood crepe, as I was in the first throes of not craving sugar. But had I been wanting a sweet breakfast, that Dutch baby would have been in mah belly.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You would think that this discussion would have reminded me to have breakfast, right? Apparently not. Oh well, early lunch will be fine.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Now I want a dutch baby SO BAD.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Talk to your brother, Scrappy?

THEY ARE *HUGE*.

Oh yeah, I was agog when they were brought to the table.

The Boy got the apple one, and it looked incredible.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

NSM, hardboiled eggs suspended in aspic.

Oh, gross, aspic is Just Fucking Wrong.

Over easy, cooked in bacon grease, on a pile of crispy hash browns = My Egg Stance

ION, I slept last night for about 9 hours!! Which means I just woke up, but hey. I don't care! I took 2 valerien supplements, a cal-mag, 2 benadryl and a vodka tonic, and it took me two going to bed attempts over two hours, but SLEEP!

Methinks Ambien is still the simpler choice for most nights, though. I am still going to be taking the cal/mag, and adding yoga/exercise/sunshine to my routine. We shall see.
