Why couldn't Giles have shackles like any self-respecting bachelor?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, not going into the office today. Just walking back and forth across my apartment is hurting too much. If I really had to, I could force myself to work through this, but I don't have anything scheduled today that can't wait until tomorrow.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Re: Feldenkreis -- my biomechanics are wonky, in that I walk kind of funny and just don't have a lot of ease with my body, in a literal mechanical sense (not a body-image demon sense). All the cardio and weights in the world aren't going to help that. Even yoga isn't doing much good.

There's a Feldenkreis studio in my neighborhood, and every 6-8 weeks they start a new session of group classes, and offer the first class free. I got an e-mail notice that the new session (free class) is tonight. So I'm thinking of going.

BUT (everybody's got a big but, Simone!) I woke up with sniffles and a scratchy throat, courtesy of The Boy, who got a cold last week from HIS brother when they went camping. And while I feel half-okay and half-crappy, which seems physically well enough to go to a bodywork class, I would feel like Typhoid Teppy if I knowingly go to a non-required group function while full of germs.

So I'll probably pass this time, but check it out the next time around.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How do you know?

Because she was friends with me and quite a few other women, we've talked on FB, hung out after making plans on FB, etc.

Today I went to look her up to see how she was doing because she had some not so good stuff go on and not friends anymore. I checked the other three women I'm really tight with that she's really tight with and they are defriended also. But three other women that all of were friends with are still friends with her.

It's all very high school and childish and so very much a waste of my time, but it still pisses me off.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Huh.

Hey Empress, while you're feeling smitey? Can you put the smackdown on people I see making light of the fire in our neighborhood?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It's all very high school and childish and so very much a waste of my time, but it still pisses me off.

I've had two people defriend me. Both from high school. Both childish. But then, they always were.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They're just jealous of your ass, Aimee.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Since when do you post in Bitches, Jesse?

May every bite of food or sip of drink they put into their mouths for the rest of their lives taste and smell of charred wood.

They're just jealous of your ass, Aimee.

Indeed they are.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I've consider unfriending a few people. Mostly for political reasons -- however, watching a friend from high school get a smack down from her daughter for dissing the president - Well worth it.

brillig

So what would be the etiquette for defriending someone who you thought you wanted to keep up with but who is now just an entry you hop over because there's not so much in common anymore?
