Yesterday, my life's like, 'Uh-oh, pop quiz!' Today it's like, 'rain of toads.'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Aims, hope you're starting to feel better.

sj, much empathy, and wishing you energy.

Laura, that house is so beautiful. I hope you get it!

I plan to achieve something today. There's been too many days of having to lie in bed (which are dull as anything). I'm not sure what I plan to achieve, but it will be something.

Ooh! And I lost weight again this week! I am delighted. At this rate, I will be a fairly comfortable size and able to buy a dress for my wedding yet.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ugh. Woke up dizzy, feverish, and with a cough trying to start. I'm taking a sick day and hoping to nip whatever it is in the bud.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ow. I woke up still really achy, but I took two days off last week to rest, and I really can't take any more.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

In today's edition of Wake Up With Neither Fry Nor Laurie, we learn what tigers do to snowmen.

Much health~ma for Calli and Hil. Hope you feel better soon.

I love the wildcats in Wake Up With Neither Fry Nor Laurie!

What a morning. I am having an enormous argument with a certain university's admissions department over discriminatory policies/practice. It has involved phone calls to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, The Girl being harassed by the admissions dept when trying to stand up for my rights, academics saying I'm right but they don't have time to do much about it, and generally no one knowing what the hell is going on.

I'm a proudly disabled person most of the time, but this stuff makes me want to give up on such things as PhDs and go back to bed for the rest of my life. Fortunately, I have a Girl making me chicken goujons for lunch.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Love the harness, meara! Can't wait to see pictures.

smonster, the rest of the episode is nowhere nearly that gross. I can't watch the teaser on rewatch. It was disgusting.

Good to know. I couldn't watch it the first time. Maybe I'll give the rest of the ep another shot.

If it comes as any consolation, I've managed to bring two iPods back from the dead. An iPhone is a bit more complicated, of course. There's always hope that a future Genius Bar trip may help.

Since the warranty is bye-bye anyway, I'm thinking about checking with our techheads to see if they have a teeny tiny screwdriver I could use to open Romero up, let him dry out a little more that way.

That's a lot of suckitude for a uni, Seska. Hope something can get done, quickly.

Good luck with Romero, smonster.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I adore the rest of the ep, smonster. Lovely stuff.

I hope Romero is resuscitatable, smonster.

My plans to lie on the couch watching The Sentinel all day may be derailed. They're running a regular ad (regular as in nearly every ad break) for Rush Radio. 106.1 at 1–3 pm for those in the Raleigh-Durham area who want to know what station to avoid and when.

When you skip a bunch of posts and go the most recent sometimes you see the most interesting out-of-context lines.

Love the harness, meara! Can't wait to see pictures.
