Doesn't winter seem more like archiving season?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Aims, you have a smart husband.

Dylan crack me up!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm home. Got home yesterday afternoon after the nice Canadian nurse gave me Toradol and Flexeril. I'm on the couch with the heating pad and a 5 year old.

Do you know yet what happened?

I have neurogenic syncope (common faint) and my trigger is pain. The pain was, apparantly, so bad when I got out of bed yesterday morning that my brain said, "Eff you, lady" and sent all my blood to capillary beds and down I went. I feel extra! special! bad, because Em was in our bed when it happened and she saw me and FREAKED OUT which made the dog start barking like crazy. Poor Joe was trying to console Em, get the dog to stop barking, and trying to get me to come to. Doctors said bad muscle strain, which I've had before, so all they can do is give me muscle relaxers and bed rest.

So, I'm mostly ok, just still very owie but I've kept my consciousness today so go me!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Bitches! I can no longer make anymore decisions today. Pink glitter, mostly purple multi glitter, taupey grey satin, or my go to so red it's black creme on hands? Aforementioned taupey grey, pink glitter or aqua green creme(what they have been for weeks) or bright pink creme on toes?

Today is spa day. Dying hair, doing all the nails, and shaving in honor of the weather.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yipes, Aims! And I sympathize with MM & Em. Must've been scary.

BTW. MY NUMBER IS ZERO has become our circle's thing when you don't want someone to call you.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Glad to hear Emeline's making a name for herself with others!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Purple multi glitter (the more glitter the merrier!) and bright pink creme.

Yow, Aims. And eeek, that must have been scary for Em and MM. I'm glad it's not seriouser, even though yes, frightening, and painful. But fixable. Go you, with the couch and the rest, and the five-year-old.

Dylan is the adorablest.

I have no news. Sometimes, this is a good thing, and right now, I'll take it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

He's standing by the play kitchen area (the party was at a local daycare that doubles as a play gym on weekends), and opens the play microwave. Inside, for some reason, there is a play phone. Dylan picks up the phone, says "Hello? No sorry, the food's not ready yet," and puts the phone back in the microwave.

Too cute!

Aims, yikes! I'm glad you're ok. Feel better!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I just got this job posting

Hustler Novelties is looking for an organized, experienced, motivated candidate with strong communication and managerial skills to run its Novelty operations.

Oh how I wish I were qualified.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have found a new depth of exhaustion today. I don't know if it is the surgery or the cold finally catching up with me or the lack of the anti-swelling pills, but I have never been so tired. Which is really quite an accomplishment for me, so I feel the need to make note of it. Thank goodness TCG is living up to his name and keeping my cuppa full.
