Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Aw bt, he will be a mastermind that takes over the world. So cute.
I am awake. On the shuttle. English driver. From Essex on the coast. In my low sleep brain he sounded Aussie. We marveled at how many English accents for such a small island, and how Aussies sound a lot more alike for such a big island. He quipped that they must have arrested his whole home town and shipped around the world.
Safe travels, omnis!
Yay, for cute, evil Ryan!
I was trying to fit in smaller bag, but the one is too short to push when walking on the crutches.
How come no one's made a remote control suitcase? You clip a transmitter on your belt, and the suitcase rolls itself after you. If a Roomba can maneuver itself around objects and find its docking station by itself, a suitcase ought to be able to follow its owner through an airport. Maybe with an alarm that goes off if it's hijacked or gets too far away.
My baby has a theory of mind! *sniff* They grow up so fast. Into lying liars who lie.
Aww! I love it when babies learn to lie.
I am disappointed. I ordered a blazer from Magellan's, because I want a jacket with security pockets on the inside (why is this so hard to find?). It's so tight across the shoulders/back, I can't lift my arms. I should have known - I have that problem with almost all blazers and jackets. What is it? Are they just badly made and I ought to buy better quality, or are my shoulders disproportionately huge?

AHAHAHAHAHA! That is awesome.
Omnis, your driver sounds very amusing.
Zen, I like that idea. I'm guessing the weight of the motor and batteries would make it a pain in the back for baggage handlers, and a heavy bag surcharge.
I'm thru security. I have an hour to wait. Seems if I shave it close on time, security is a hassle. If I show up early, I breeze right thru. Some kind of Murphy's Law corollory (sp?) I suppose. The flight that is leaving from my gate now has wi-fi. Hopefully mine will too.

He was. The next pick up took over the conversation, nice fella, but not as amusing. The last guy hijacked the talk. Getting trained on claims adjuster in disaster area.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Hmm. Schematics time. I need to discuss this with my engineer.
Googling around, Hil, I couldn't find a damn thing -- even all the baseball nostalgia people who sell tons of vintage minor league and Negro League shirts and hats don't have anything for the women's teams. There's even a New York Women's Baseball history website that's beautifully detailed and rich with everything you could ask for, including a CafePress store...that's completely empty. Grr.
I did discover two cool things, though: first, the Vintage Base Ball Association (basically, a mashup of baseball geekery and Faire/SCA culture) now has a women's division, with teams scattered around the country; and, second, the first women's college baseball team in the U.S.? Was at MY COLLEGE. Booyah! (And I love the name: The Resolutes.)
Found this, though Hil:
