Tipping on the card means the tip has to be legally reported as income and taxes are taken out, and frequently means that tips will be pooled and divvied up at the end of the month. Cash means I hand the guy cash and he keeps it.
I didn't know that. Thanks; I usually pay and tip delivery folk in cash, anyway, but now I will make sure to always tip in cash.
Steve always leaves cash tip for all reasons listed above.

Huzzah to Joe for emptying out her room and setting it up today!!

Strigoi:
Here's the trailer - [link] A lot of the soundtrack is the band Beirut, which is a little odd but works. Also, here is my favorite line from the movie, which I suspect is a lot funnier if you know the culture. "The Communists stole my dog so it couldn't bark when the Gypsies came." ::snort:: I was laughing a lot more than the friend who went with me who was not familiar with Romanian culture.
Happy B-day Laura!
I was going to go into work today, knock out some stuff without the distractions of tech rehearsals. My body thought better of that idea. Ignoring 3 alarms, and sleeping until noon. Um. Ok. So, I'm at home in my warm apartment instead.
ND, how ya doing over there? You too Pix?

I meant to follow up:
From my experience delivering pizza, I was just happy to get a tip.
Wait? what? People don't tip?? I always wonder if I under or over tip, but NO tip? WTF? So, what is proper tip for delivery?
It's been a long time but I remember it as about 1/3 didn't tip at all, about 1/3 tipped the amount to round up to the nearest dollar (keep the change), and about 1/3 gave an actual tip. That's in Topeka, KS though. I'll bet the rate is higher in a more urban area.

Yeah, we're evil like that.
Aims, WOW, that is a really nice set up! I bet she's thrilled!
