Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Much ~ma to your BFF's family, Ginger. Fuck cancer, indeed.

getting outside for a 15 min walk daily without sunscreen can really help

It makes a huge difference in my life. And I often ignore it, to my detriment. One of the best things about finally getting a job is that it takes around 10 minutes for me to walk from my parking lot to work, so doing that twice a day has increased my daily sun intake considerably. And I feel the difference when I get home. I actually get shit done. Plus, I'm dogsitting the daughter's Yorkie, right now, and that gets me out every couple hours for pee breaks and a couple of short walks. Makes me think I should get a dog, but then I remember I'm not really a dog person and sitting a pet is like sitting a grandkid. You spoil them rotten and then give them back to the parents who have to undo everything you did while you sit back and laugh.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You could try walking your cat.

I colored my hair. My bathroom looks like one of those demonstrations about how germs go everywhere.

The status is NOT quo.

Zen, when Welbutrin stopped working for me, I went on the new drug Pristiq. It's been great for me, fwiw. I'm so sorry you're stuck in a spiral. Hang in there.

Seska, that sounds miserable. I'm so sorry. Health-ma to you.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Teppy has one. His name is Ray.

I'm imagining this must be said in a Constable Fraser tone of voice.

The status is NOT quo.

I have extremely lazy cats. They are lined up at the foot of the bed, completely passed out. Very cute.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I took my cat walking today. It's around 62F and sunny. The cat wanted to come back inside before I did. And, yeah, I figure the sun on my skin can only help. Well, that and the chocolate ice cream with Kahlua I had for dessert an hour ago.

Art Crawl!!!

I cannot wait for the sidewalks to clear so I can take my cat for a walk. Turns out that she is an excellent leash-walking cat. Who know?

I bought a longer leash just for this purpose.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Start to feel a little bit better. Hoping the antibiotics are beginning to have an effect.

Did you know that the wifi at Denny's will not let you look at the Bitches thread?

Hee!

You might want to look into one of those light therapy things and/or vitamin D.

I second the light box suggestion. I use mine every day - it helps me to wake up in the morning, prevents insomnia and helps with SAD-type symptoms. I definitely recommend them, especially if you benefit from walks in the natural light.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

{{{{ Bitches }}}} Hugs all around for everyone that needs. Some extra for the others, for being such great supportive friends.

So, it seems the Ass't Stage Manager on this show is super geeky, and Super Comic Book geeky, and rather cute, in a geeky way. But my gaydar is screaming "dude, she's a lesbian, don't bother". Ugggg. Not fair!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I remember Teppy's Ray! And yes, I always hear Fraser: Ray? Ray? Ray? Inspired name, really.

Better~ma's to those who need them. Seska, stones are No Fun. I'm glad you have drugs to help.

Cats have always had the right idea, basking in winter sun, even through glass.
